The original request on this shoot was a portrait, but I when I saw the subject and her costume, I knew it would work better treat the shoot as beauty-fashion. There's usually a professional makeup artist on set for beauty-fashion, but she did her own and needed little more. During processing, I didn't have to do much along those lines, which freed me to handle other dimensions of the image.
