Here's the setup I used for this photo of a family hitching a ride with Santa. The subjects hung from the bar and onto each other, with the scene lit vertical-for-horizontal. Note the two fans pointed straight down to give some life to hair and clothing. BTW, I really don't like to use green screen for compositing stills, but that's what was up in the studio. White, gray and black work much better for stills. Green is what you need with video; I can make green work for stills imagery, but it is a pain in the tuckus taking out the colorcast it creates.
